1 pound extra-lean ground turkey
¼ cup finely chopped green onions
2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon black pepper
⅛ teaspoon salt
Nonstick cooking spray
12 baby spinach leaves
¼ cup (1 ounce) shredded, reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
1 shallot, thinly cut into 12 slices
1 tablespoon steak sauce (optional)
12 mini whole-wheat pita bread rounds, cut in half horizontally

1. Combine turkey, green onions, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt in large bowl; mix well. Shape into 12 patties.
