THIS Festive Season, to quote a current over-used phrase, will be like no other. After weeks in lockdown, Sydney and Melbourne will have re-opened bars, pubs and restaurants and the other states are poised to celebrate with gusto, too. The cocktail boom has continued to gather steam and shows no signs of winding down. But in many of the world's top bars, the new-fangled concoctions haven't steam-rolled the hits of yesteryear and the classics remain some of the most ordered mixed drinks, especially during summer.
