CHICKEN AND CREAMED CORN IN A PAN
Classic combo
For extra flavour, add a splash of wine to the chicken while cooking. Just make sure the alcohol cooks away completely.
Ingredients
(serves 4)
8 chicken drumsticks
2 tablespoons of your favourite braai spices (we used NOMU chicken rub)
1 tablespoon oil
A lump of butter
4 spring onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely crushed
1 red chilli, finely chopped
1 heaped tablespoon cake flour
1 cup cream
½ cup chicken stock
2 cups frozen corn kernels
1 teaspoon dry mixed herbs
2 teaspoons honey
