Introduction

Published since 1986, Singapore Tatler’s guide to the Best Restaurants has been offering an authoritative snapshot of the nation’s best dining experiences for more than three decades. It has assessed and reflected the exponential growth that our lauded dining scene has enjoyed—celebrating stalwarts alongside new talents who help change the way we feast, one delicious dish at a time.

Stellar new concepts, the likes of Preludio and Zén, go beyond the expected, affirming a renewed investment in creating a more memorable dining experience. The former presents chef Fernando Arevalo’s thoughtful transborder cuisine style that breaks free from culinary boundaries. Helmed by chef Tristin Farmer, the latter serves contemporary cuisine grounded in Nordic sensibilities. The meal here is also presented as a ‘moving experience’, which starts with snacks on the first floor, followed by dinner proper on the the second level, and ends with petit fours and drinks on the third
