LOOKING BACK 2020

In late March I was over near Bury St Edmunds to take in the 12th Suffolk Vintage Ploughing Society, staged by Paul Rowe and friends at Neville House Farm. Although it had been wet underfoot, the ground conditions were good for ploughing on this excellent site. What attracted me to this event was the fact it was a qualifier for the National later in the year which sadly didn’t happen. The day saw National Vintage Ploughing Champion Richard Ingram in action and Max Cherry in the trailed section with his Fordson N and RSLD plough coming up trumps.

Brief respite
