LOOKING BACK 2020

In the UK, the Covid-19 epidemic whipped out the late spring and summer season completely. However, a few low key events took place in August and the high point of the season was the weekend of September 12-13 when a raft of events took place across the land (under Covid-19 regulations).

Guidance

By then we were heading for a lockdown again regarding ploughing matches, road runs and end of season gatherings although some events still went ahead under government/local authority guidance with limited numbers and ticket only affairs like the October 4-5 Ardingly Autumn Show and Game Fair. Our biggest event in Europe - in our sector at least - is The Great Dorset Steam Fair over the August bank holiday it hung on as long as it could but had to be called off as the situation did not improve.
