The weather was just brilliant in the spring of 2022 and this made life easier for the photographer, you might think. On the whole, that was true, but it brings up other problems of heavy black shadow that one has to work around with the camera to which your naked eye adjusts well to a certain extent.

That was the case on April 2 when at the Detling Heritage Show and South East Bus Festival, Maidstone, Kent, the sun shone all day.
