1 Take footpath SSW, later crossing straight over road to reach Craster South Farm. Bear L, around side of gate, soon joining more solid track. After crossing another track, walk SSW across fields to Howick Hall. Turn L along vehicle track.

2 Go L at road for 850m and then take byway on R. Follow this to the mouth of Howick Burn.

3 Turn sharp L along coastal trail. Keep to path
