Making more Hot Lips!

MY garden, like thousands of others, became my focus during lockdown. Diligently pruning, sowing and planting, closely following advice, I had hopes of future improvement. Pruning my ‘Hot Lips’ salvia, I stuck stems into a pot of spent compost and some flowering stems into water to open indoors. The pot stems all took root, and to my surprise the flowering stems grew roots, too – something I have found
