EURO CUP ACTION IS BACK, ALBEIT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

When the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic brought global sports to a standstill, the prestigious and lucrative European cup competitions were in full force.

With sports slowly returning to some sort of normality, Europe’s football governing body, Uefa, has given the go-ahead for the European cup action to resume – albeit behind closed doors.

The Europa League starts on Wednesday and Thursday, while the Champions League resumes on Friday and Saturday.
