Crab cakes always remind me of sumer holidays by the sea in Suffolk or Norfolk. When I was a child, we’d often go camping, and for lunch, we’d cycle to a local seaside fish shack. I always chose the little fishcakes and a big ramekin of tartare sauce – it was my favourite.
I’ve created these easy fishcakes that are reminiscent of the ones from my childhood – they’re ideal for sharing, and dunking in my ultimate tartare sauce. If you can, use fresh crabmeat.
