Savoury parmesan tartlets
Try alternative fillings for these tartlets, such as prawn cocktail, pâté & chutney or taramasalata.

FOR THE CASES
375g sheet ready-rolled shortcrust pastry flour, for dusting
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp finely grated parmesan
FOR THE HUMMUS & ROASTED TOMATO TARTLETS
7 cherry tomatoes, halved
200g hummus
snipped chives, to garnish
FOR THE SMOKED SALMON & DILL TARTLETS
200g soft cheese
85g smoked salmon
a small handful of dill, chopped small capers, drained, to garnish (optional)
Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Roll the pastry out on a lightly floured work surface
