PRECIOUS LITTLE THINGS

Good friends, designer Sheherazade Goldsmith and model Laura Bailey, dreamt up Loquet London almost by mistake. “A present from my son gave me an idea,” Sheherazade tells us. “Then Laura and I turned it into a concept over a dinner that became a meeting and then another.” The idea is that you fill the gold-framed crystal lockets with tiny charms that are visible through the centre. Fans include Alexa Chung, Johnny Depp, Dua Lipa and Adwoa Aboah.

How did you meet?

Laura: Our criss-crossing London paths that began 20 years ago; and our entwined lives – both ours and now our kids.

How would you describe your jewellery?

Laura: A creative modern take on the classic locket, with the added romance of one-of-a-kind bespoke designs. Although we love the store experience of making and trying on, we are especially proud of our innovative website [where you can design your own Loquet], which is unique in the world of jewellery.
