Save or delete?

I read Andrew S Redding's letter in AP 26 January, and fully appreciate his point about APS packaging. What interested me most, however, was his comment that he has stored 100,000 of his pictures on his hard drive. Andrew may well be a fantastic photographer but what possible use could anyone have for that number of stored images? One of my New Year's resolutions has been to delete from my hard drive everything but the photos I really like and/ or have a sentimental value to me. This means I will be deleting at least
