hat does the ‘D’ stand for in DSLR? Browsing the more recent editions of this magazine it would appear to be ‘Dead’. When I retired some years back I treated myself to the best camera on the market at the time – the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark ll – which took a good lump out of my pension. My fellow camera club members who by and large have all gone mirrorless can’t understand why I put up with the weight.
