Armed with a diploma in cosmetology from the National Council of Vocational and Research Training in Delhi, Brar moved to London for a short stint as a make-up artist. Back in India, she has been working full-time as a freelance make-up artist.
Less is More
She feels that the minimalistic Hollywood soft glam look is popular in India. "Even brides these days prefer to keep it subtle. The idea is to balance the look by highlighting one feature while keeping the rest minimal," she says.

Brar feels that while Punjab may be veering towards minimal make-up currently, things will change very soon. "Glitter is all set to make a comeback. Thicker and longer lashes continue to be in vogue as well (recently seen at the Christian Dior spring 2018 show)."
