- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5For the overall series.
The first book was really weak for me. Harrison was WAY too possessive & off-putting.
The 2nd book was the best out of the lot, for me... I fell a bit in love with Kit, I'm not gonna lie.
The 3rd book was hit & miss for me, there was something about Preston that just didn't do it for me, maybe his callousness...
The 4th book, the Duke was the hidden gem... I really liked his & Nellie's relationship & that he was a gentle soul with a naughty streak, was the cherry on top.
The Duke & Kit for the win :)) for me!
I'd just wish the author had been able to intersperse the stories a bit more... they were all a group of friends, but for example Maddie only reappears on the last pages of the last book & Harrison only shows up one more time sometime in the 3rd book...
