- Boucher's World: Encounters
The Humans and Elvwists of Boucher’s World have undergone a major transformation that has changed them into... something else. They’ve been out of contact with their home-worlds for two thousand years but recently they’ve learned that an expedition will soon be arriving from Earth. The captain of the lead ship, Timothy Moore, and his crew are not aware that there’s a high-tech society or anyone other than Humans on Boucher’s World. They also don’t believe in psychic abilities. What will happen when they confront a situation for which they don’t even come close to being prepared? What happens when a ship arrives from the Elvwists homeworld? The outcomes of these crucial encounters will shape and change the future of all humans, and all Elvwists.
- Bridge
There are many tales from the period known as the Change in Boucher's World history when Humans began being born with psychic abilities a thousand years ago. This is the story of one family’s survival from near the beginning of that time. Randa takes her family and leaves her home in the foothills of the mountains, fleeing marauders who would kill her children for being different. They are rescued by the Elvwists and taken to a village set up for the safety of the new Humans. Born too early to be one of the changed people, will Randa be able to bridge the gap between the old ways and the new? Will her new friends, the Elvwists, be able to help?
- Swallow and Dove: A Tale from the Turmoils
Having always been overindulged by its four parents, Dove was a unique Elvwist: Spoiled. It was used to getting what it wanted, and when it decided to befriend Swallow, it had an ulterior motive, and it did not involve love or taking vows...
- Moving Day
Jade is fourteen years old and excited about finally being old enough to move out on her own. She’s got her help lined up, a moving van rented which her friend and room-mate, Tally, a big silver Cat, will be driving since Jade’s driving skills leave a lot to be desired. She’s all packed and ready to go. Apparently, though, you just can’t have a moving day without something going wrong. Go figure.
- Raven and C'elie: A Love Story
Raven is not human. It is, in fact, a member of a species of gentle giants with aspects of both male and female. When it finds a hurt and bedraggled human female lying in the woods, it didn’t know if it could help her but felt it had to try. It did not bargain on falling in love with her.
- Seed
Abandoned on an alien planet, Second must learn to co-exist with a group of primitives in order to survive. A tale of the acceptance of differences and of unconditional love.
- Hard Changes
What will Randa do when her vow-mate goes fishing and doesn’t return? She lives in a very isolated area, alone with her children, and with their provider gone, she is the only one who can keep them alive. Will she be able to handle the task? Will her mate return? And what will happen when they finally meet the beings they have been told are demons? Change can be very hard, and it takes flexibility and courage to be able to meet all the challenges that are usually involved. A story of birth, death, and other changes.
- Boucher's World: Transformation
Jade Lowry, the co-discoverer of the way out of the continent-covering Dome of Boucher’s World, was kidnapped but managed to escape with the help of her soul-mate, Kendis Rost, and the doomed precog, S’tella. During the event, she and Kendis discover inexplicable differences about themselves as they go to the aid of their friends who are fighting with the minions of her kidnapper. Once she and Kendis get back to her home in Village Twelve, what does Lark, the Elvwist Healer, and Sparrow, its precog vow-mate have to tell them that explain why they appear to be transforming into something that isn’t quite Human?
- Boucher's World: Emergent
Boucher’s World, where every sentient being is endowed with psychic abilities. But, having these abilities hasn’t been any help in getting them out of a dome that covers their entire continent, effectively keeping them imprisoned. No one knows who - or what - erected the dome. Or why. It appeared a year after Earthlings joined another race, the Elvwists, on the planet in the Epsilon Eridani star system. Its presence effectively cut both races off from their home worlds, and there has been no contact for over two thousand years. Jade Lowry is a descendant of the original settlers. So is Tally. Jade's human ancestors brought Tally's cat forebears along to the exoplanet as pets, and due to the mutations that caused the development of the psychic abilities in both species, they now live as equals. These two, both teenagers of their kind, were raised together and are now partners employed by Nuisance Apprehenders, Inc., the leading pest control company among all the villages and enclaves. One day while chasing a renegade mouse, they make a remarkable discovery: a door to the outside. Have the two pest company workers found the key to freedom?
