About this series

Why I Wrote This Book:Think Peace!

My purpose here is to help spread the word to everyone about how we - as a nation – are building these ships to meet the urgent maritime needs of our times. I wrote this book about these new 21st Century Navy “peace keeping” ships, the LCS Class for two reasons:

First: to help everyone have a clear understanding of what our Navy is doing to maintain peace and freedom of the seas.

Second, the author says he wrote this because he has a soft spot in his heart for the Navy. He gave the Navy three years of his life before he was 21. He is now a Platinum Status Writer (One of the best of the top 20 writers, out of over 400,000 writers world-wide at EzinesArticles.com)Now he says, "After all of these years I still have the Navy in my blood in many ways." ( My grandfather was in the Navy during the Spanish-American War).

Earth, also called the "water planet" has more than 96.5% of land area covered by water. Think Peace is a book written to help Americans understand the need for the Navy's newest class of ships: the LCS, Littoral Combat Ships. Energetic crews are passionate mission-oriented, high tech men and women who eagerly do their best to maintain and promote world peace in every port visited by these shallow water ships. To be a dominant power for world peace the USN must be equipped to efficiently and quickly control: oceans, seas, harbors, and all maritime traffic - everywhere. This new class of ships is amazingly versatile, fast and able. Their small crews are technically adept while enthusiastically acting as ambassadors for peace in many harbors around the world. As patriotic, peace loving Americans, we need to read this book and then support the funding for the construction of more of these ships. and - Think Peace!

    How To Cope...with life

Why I wrote this book: I wrote this book to help you and all other readers cope, that is -deal, with life's difficulties. It can also be used as a Christian group's devotional guide book to stir up interesting discussions about a wide variety of subjects. This book contains many examples of events in my life where God's support helped me handle the difficulties as he became the solid foundation that has supported the life I've lived for the last eighty-five years as I depended on His always available advice and help. I see all life as a gift from God. I believe He sent each one of us here with His gifts of individual, unique talents and abilities that He meant us to share with the people around us. In short, those gifts and our sharing of them with others are the primary purposes of our earthly lives. When you encounter good or bad events in your life, you can depend on God to provide answers. You see, because He knows you so thoroughly, His desire is to provide you with loving, helpful answers to your prayers every time you ask for His help. So - be sure to ASK! Again, in this book, my aim is to help you by explaining, with many personal examples, how God helped me confidently cope - one event at a time - with the same kind of difficult events and problems many of us may face during our lives. For example, I constantly pray: "OK God, what do you want me to do now?" He always answers these prayers with: "Yes. No. Or, I have a better way...so wait." My hope and prayer for you is that what you read in this book will help to persuade you to always prayerfully ask for God's advice to help you with each and every decision you make - of your own free will - in your lifetime. Terry Weber, Author P.S. Note to all leaders of Prayer Warrior Teams: Tips For Praying For Your Worship Team Prayer Warrior leaders sometimes need to take a break from constant prayers and sort of take stock. We need to think and ask the Lord what more we can do to help and encourage the others on our worship team. I’ve found it is always a good idea to have a checklist of things to keep in mind, things to do – before you rush out of your home on an important mission or into the battlefield as one of the Lord’s Prayer Warriors. Look at this checklist: First, consider your armor: The belt of truth. Breastplate of righteousness. Shoes of Gospel peace. Shield of faith. Helmet of Salvation. Sword of the Spirit – word of God. Second, take a place of battle in the front lines of your battlefield. Third, have a timetable to keep you on a regular schedule of prayer. Fourth, make up a strategy: what do you plan to accomplish during your prayer time? Fifth, remember to praise the Lord and thank Him for, well you know, everything... Sixth, be sure to bind the strong man – the devil. Seventh, tell the angels what you want them to do. Be specific: give them orders! Eighth, be persistent. Keep blasting away at those situations that need the intense firepower of prayer over a long time. Ninth, talk and also listen. Meditate as you pray. Tenth, when you finish your daily prayer time, make a list of what you’ve prayed about and for – then, stand back and watch to see the results! Well, that’s a starter checklist for you. You can add to it or modify it with your own list. The important thing is to begin your list now. Why? Because the experience you get during these minor forays and skirmishes as a recruit Prayer Warrior, can build your confidence and faith for the major battles that are surely ahead. But, remember, the best way to begin to prepare your campaign for all of the battles ahead is with a– Prayer Warrior’s checklist. Terry Weber

As an author, sales letter writer, inventor and painter I understand creativity. I know the kind of ability and perseverance it takes to invent useful and/or beautiful products. All of this activity and thinking can be fun as well as an extremely interesting way of life. Learning the many ways to create and invent takes effort, focused thinking, enthusiasm, determination, patience and constant prayers asking for the Lord's guidance and help. God is the original Creator. As His children we are all born with the ability to create and invent. Again, it is important to keep in mind that we are all born with the potential to be successful creators and inventors of profitable, beneficial ideas and products with world changing potential. We can cause these talents to grow stronger (just like a muscle can be made to grow stronger) with use, or we can allow our creativity to lie dormant and unused. The choice is yours. If you want to be creative, you can force yourself to create. How? It starts with thinking about finding solutions to one or more of the problems all around us. You can do it if you will set aside the time needed to think about the problem and then come up with a profitable idea to solve the problem. Terry Talks Series this is #1 of 4. I have been writing all of my life. I guess I started with assignments I was told to write in my many different grade schools. We moved a lot back in the Great Depression days so during my early education, I went to 13 different schools. Later, when I was away in the US Navy, I wrote newsy, homesick letters to my parents at home. I also wrote lots of love letters to my girlfriends back home. Then after I got out of the Navy, I went to college (at night) under the GI Bill, and I was required to write on a variety of subjects while taking a number of different classes. Another time, I got a job as a creative copywriter of sales letters for an advertising agency in Dayton, OH. Later I went in business for myself where I used mail order sales letters to sell some of my business type inventions. One time the pastor of my church, after he heard that I was a writer, asked me to write inspirational messages for the back of the church's weekly bulletin. I did that for about thirty years. So what you read here are just a few of the stories I've accumulated over my many years of all kinds of experience and writing. In short, I think writing stories is often quite difficult, but also I find it very enjoyable as well as fun filled, and satisfying "work." Terry Talks Series this is # 2 of 4.

Smile At Your Mirror... so you can see what others see when you smile at them

I wrote this book with the hope that you will take to heart all I have to say here about your smile and your teeth. I've been aware of how important my teeth and my smile are ever since my two front teeth were broken off when I was 9 or 10 years old. The result of that accident was that I've had to wear false teeth (a denture) ever since that happened. Wearing a denture forced me to focused my attention on my teeth, and my smile in a way that made me take very good care of my remaining natural teeth ever since that happened. I've discovered most people do not want to talk about teeth or visits to the dentist. But, here in this book, I talk about teeth so you will think about taking good care of your teeth...now! I hope reading what I have to say here about teeth, dentists and dentures will make you realize how very precious and valuable a healthy set of natural teeth can be. In other words, the money you spend to keep your natural teeth as healthy as possible is money well spent. If you ever have to buy dentures so you can eat comfortably three times a day, you will discover just how very expensive and life changing dentures really are: eating and chewing food becomes a problem; smiling is different; learning how to talk with a mouth full of dentures is a problem; even sneezing and coughing and kissing present unimagined problems for all denture wearers. In short, this book will help you be aware of those problems in advance.

I am a practicing "wordsmith". Therefore, it is my sincere hope that both you and I and our readers will profit from what you read here in this book. I don’t know about you but my articles always have a purpose. That purpose can be: change a mind, improve understanding, persuade to buy, introduce a new idea, product or thought to the benefit my readers, try to clarify thinking, help readers overcome obstacles, entertain, introduce ideas that demonstrate how much fun is available to all of us each day. In this book I write about how you can avoid “writer’s block in great detail, here are some ideas that are explained in detail in this book for your consideration: Idea #1 If I have no idea about what to write... (You can read more about this idea my book...) Idea #2: My next step was to research...(You can read more about this idea in my book...) Idea #3: Here’s another method I used to avoid “writer’s block... (You can read about this in the book...)” Later, as I was thinking about what to write next, here’s what I did...(You can read more about this idea in my book...) So, the question is, are you having fun yet? Is reading this an enjoyable experience for you? Are you having a good time as you read what I have to say here? Are you learning more about how to write? If not loosen up, smile! Enjoy yourself and take what I’ve said here to heart. Here’s another subject for you to think about to become a more profitable writer for you and your readers. Have you ever considered writing about the obvious? Back around 1910 Robert R. Updegraff wrote a short story for the Saturday Evening Post with the title: “The Story of Obvious Adams (You can read more about this subject in my book...) The word Obvious is an important word for you, as a writer to keep fresh and in the forefront of your mind during all of your pre-writing thinking hours. As a wordsmith consider the following suggestions: Writing an article is like creating a painting: An article or story can be compared to an artist’s painting of a (You can read more about this idea in my book...) Writing an article or story resembles carving: As a wordsmith you can approach your writing as a wood carver who must first think ...(You can read more about this idea in my book...) In short, as a wordsmith you are like the: artist, carver, architect, doctor and ultimately – the one who approaches a writing assignment with meticulous preparation before writing anything. So, again let me say, you must, just like all the others I’ve mentioned, think before you write so you are sure what you write will be easy, free flowing, entertaining and above all – profitable for both you and your readers. Heart One final word before I finish. To be a profitable writer who helps the readers profit from what you have written, you must put your heart (compassion, spirit, center, emotion, sentiment, mood, temperament, mind, soul, nature, spirit, character, essence, deep inner feelings) into all of your writing. In this short review of my book I want to give you one final word about how you can write for your profit and for the profit of your audience - your readers... I wrote this book for our mutual profit as "wordsmiths". My aim is to share with you how to get personal profit & satisfaction as you learn to interest your readers in better ways. Your writing can be more enthusiastic, entertaining and helpful for your readers. How? Buy this book today! Why? Because reading it and acting on these suggestions can open opportunities for you to gain the kind of readership & popularity needed by all successful (profitable) writers. ...Think long and hard before you write any story or article – then - write with enthusiasm and you will reap the profits!

50% Of Today’s Senior’s Wear Dentures! Try to be part of that other 50% that does not wear dentures... avoid the expense and major changes to your daily life. Now, while you still have your natural teeth is the time to pay your dentist to maintain your natural teeth so you will save money and avoid the change in your life that is caused when you may need to buy and wear very expensive dentures! Suggestion: Don’t read this book from cover to cover. Instead, look at the list of chapter titles and then choose one or more chapters that seem to answer your immediate questions or solve your current ”teeth” problems. Then, read only those chapters. In other words, use this book as your personal “oral health care” reference book. Why I wrote this book As a long-time denture wearer myself, I have been researching and writing about teeth, dentist and dentures for about ten years. My first purpose is to try to educate people about the constant need to take good care of their natural teeth. I want to do this because I have had about seventy-four years (74) of experience with the many problems I had when wearing a denture in my mouth. You see, when I was about nine or ten years old my two front teeth were accidentally broken and knocked out. Ever since then I have worn a denture every day (27,000+ days) of my life. Therefore, I’ve had lots of experience with denture problems. What I have done in this book is to try to pass along to you as many helpful suggestions about dentures as possible. Of course, I also have a second purpose. About seven or eight years ago, around 2005, I was fed up with denture problems and I made up my mind to find the most practical way I could think of to help future denture wearers everywhere have the most comfortable dentures possible. I decided to put my natural inventive ability and talents to work to invent a new low cost and better kind of denture liner. It was not an easy task. I did lots of extensive research. I tried this and I tried that. I tested all of the commercially available denture liners at the time. I asked my dentist and others for their help and opinions. I asked several dentists what was their advice about wearing dentures, every one of them said: “I don’t wear a denture so I cannot give you any advice.” I even tried the very expensive re-liner procedures that dentists always suggest to solve the loose denture problem. In addition, tried and experimented with as many compounds as I could to solve what I call the: loose, uncomfortable denture problem. The result of all of my research and experimentation about dentures is that I now I know what you and I need as denture wearers to have more comfortable dentures for the rest of our lives. The answer is to solve the basic requirements for comfortable dentures and they are: (1) Support (2) Stability (3) Retention. I have now invented (Patent Pending) the brand new Weber Denture Liner. It is: always soft, flexible, mold-able, tasteless, not affected by temperature changes, long lasting and re-usable after daily rinsing with plain water. In early 2000 I established my personal comfort products website (Originals By Weber) and have been using that location to tell people about my new denture liner invention ever since then. In fact, this book is an extension of my effort to “get the word out “ and let people know that their dentures can now be much more comfortable, stable, supported and have better retention for the rest of their denture wearing lives. What you will read in this book is a compilation of my articles and knowledge, after years of study, about dentists, dentures and teeth plus the history of dentistry that goes all the way back to the Stone Age.
