Why I wrote this book
As a long-time denture wearer myself, I have been researching and writing about teeth, dentist and dentures for about ten years. My first purpose is to try to educate people about the constant need to take good care of their natural teeth. I want to do this because I have had about seventy-four years (74) of experience with the many problems I had when wearing a denture in my mouth. You see, when I was about nine or ten years old my two front teeth were accidentally broken and knocked out. Ever since then I have worn a denture every day (27,000+ days) of my life. Therefore, I’ve had lots of experience with denture problems.
What I have done in this book is to try to pass along to you as many helpful suggestions about dentures as possible. Of course, I also have a second purpose.
About seven or eight years ago, around 2005, I was fed up with denture problems and I made up my mind to find the most practical way I could think of to help future denture wearers everywhere have the most comfortable dentures possible.
I decided to put my natural inventive ability and talents to work to invent a new low cost and better kind of denture liner. It was not an easy task. I did lots of extensive research. I tried this and I tried that. I tested all of the commercially available denture liners at the time. I asked my dentist and others for their help and opinions. I asked several dentists what was their advice about wearing dentures, every one of them said: “I don’t wear a denture so I cannot give you any advice.” I even tried the very expensive re-liner procedures that dentists always suggest to solve the loose denture problem. In addition, tried and experimented with as many compounds as I could to solve what I call the: loose, uncomfortable denture problem.
The result of all of my research and experimentation about dentures is that I now I know what you and I need as denture wearers to have more comfortable dentures for the rest of our lives. The answer is to solve the basic requirements for comfortable dentures and they are: (1) Support (2) Stability (3) Retention.
I have now invented (Patent Pending) the brand new Weber Denture Liner.
It is: always soft, flexible, mold-able, tasteless, not affected by temperature changes, long lasting and re-usable after daily rinsing with plain water.
In early 2000 I established my personal comfort products website (Originals By Weber) and have been using that location to tell people about my new denture liner invention ever since then.
In fact, this book is an extension of my effort to “get the word out “ and let people know that their dentures can now be much more comfortable, stable, supported and have better retention for the rest of their denture wearing lives.
What you will read in this book is a compilation of my articles and knowledge, after years of study, about dentists, dentures and teeth plus the history of dentistry that goes all the way back to the Stone Age.

What you will read here in this book is a compilation of my articles and knowledge, after years of study, about dentists, dentures and teeth plus the history of dentistry that goes all the way back to the Stone Age.
In all of my studies and experimentation and research about dentures and denture liners one fact stand out in my mind above all others. It is a fact that people –all people - are not concerned about their teeth until they have a problem with their teeth. Problems such as: a broken tooth, toothache, decays that needs attention and annoying mouth sores. It has always been that way.
Another outstanding fact is this: People almost never talk
about their teeth and their other oral problems. For some unknown reason teeth problems are never the topic of a conversation, and yet –we all have dental problems during our lives.
In order to try to help you solve your teeth problems, I talk
extensively about teeth and dentists and dentures in this book. As you will see, here in chapter after chapter there are many articles and press releases about problems with teeth, both natural and teeth that are man made. I wrote many of the articles to promote the use and understanding of my unique denture liners. My hope is that these chapters about a wide range of oral and denture –teeth - problems will provide you with the kind of information you may need to keep your teeth healthy. My suggestion is this: When you have any kind of problem with your teeth, look at the list of chapters and then choose those that are most likely to help you solve that specific teeth or oral problem. In addition, throughout the whole book, you can read lots of interesting history about teeth, dentists and dentures in ancient as well as modern times.
Technical Explanation of dentures
Dentures are more accurately know as removable complete dentures, also called full-mouth false teeth. A denture is used when a patient has no teeth left on the mandibular arch, the maxillary arch, or both. Patients can become entirely edentulous (without teeth) either due to ineffective oral hygiene or trauma. Removable complete dentures can help give the edentulous patient better masticator (chewing) abilities, as well as enhance the esthetic appeal of their libs in specific and the entire face in general.
Removable partial dentures are for patients who are missing only some of their teeth on a particular arch. Fixed partial dentures, better know as crown and bridges, are also for patients missing only some of their teeth, but these are more expensive than removable appliances, and they have unique constraints in certain specific instances.
Problems with complete dentures
Problems with dentures include the fact that patient are not used to having something in their mouth that is not food. The brain senses this appliance as food
and
