Starfield is Bethesda's first new IP in years, and had tons of hype built around it leading up to the release, but the game was met with tepid reviews. In other news, dataminers have seemingly found evidence of some major crossovers coming to Call of Duty: expect the likes of Fallout, Gundam, and The Crow to come to the popular shooter franchise soon. And finally, 7-Eleven is getting into the gaming space with a Tetris handheld. And yes the handheld will resemble a Slurpee.

Cancelled Batman Game Set in Nolan's Universe Revealed - IGN Daily Fix: In today's Daily Fix: Footage of a cancelled Batman game by Monolith have been uploaded to a thread on X, but this isn't some run-of-the-mill Batman game, it was set in (or at least heavily inspired by) Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, AND it used the Nemesis system. Yes, the groundbreaking NPC system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was originally meant for a Batman game. This new Batman game would have run concurrently with the Arkham games, and Warner Bros. eventually decided to focus on the LOTR franchise, leaving Rocksteady to do their thing with Batman with what eventually would be Arkham Knight. The Nemesis system would be retooled for Shadow of Mordor, which spawned a sequel, Shadow of War. In other news, a new study has been released with data pointing to gamers preferring older games to newer ones.
