Boyer is a former Green Beret in the US Army who learned to long snap, from the ground up, as a 30-year-old in order to fulfill his dream of starting for the University of Texas Longhorns football team. Gammon played 218 straight games during his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, and Kansas City Chiefs, and is one of the best long snappers in NFL history.Chapter 6: Someone needs to catch those tight spirals.
