In this episode, Amanda Hsieh talks with Carrie Vollmer-Sanders, Sustainability Director for the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers in Action. Carrie is a leader in the Decade of Agriculture efforts, advancing U.S. agriculture’s triple bottom line of social, environmental, and economic objectives in the Ag Investment Accelerator and Honor the Harvest. She received the White House Champion of Change Award in 2014 for developing the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program at The Nature Conservancy. Additionally, she serves on the Edon Farmers Co-op Board, previously on the US EPA Science Advisory Board, and has worked for the Michigan Farm Bureau.
