Dulos died in January 2020 after attempting suicide at his Farmington home. Farber Dulos’ body has never been found, but she is presumed dead. Today, we present the story. #BestGuests: Wendy Murphy serves as adjunct professor of sexual violence law at New England Law|Boston, where she also co directs the Women’s and Children’s Advocacy Project under the Center for Law and Social Responsibility. A former Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School, Wendy prosecuted child abuse and sex crimes cases for many years. Darby Fox is a child and adolescent family therapist with over 25 years of experience with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Darby’s first book, Rethinking Your Teenager: Shifting from Conflict and Control to Structure and Nurture to Raise Accountable Young Adults, received critical acclaim. She’s an expert on parenting and family topics, she has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, and Newsmax and is a monthly contributor to Psychology Today. Robert “Bobby” McDonald was both a State of Connecticut and United States Probation Officer and spent over 20 years with the United States Secret Service. His duties included Presidential, Vice Presidential, and Dignitary Protection Divisions in Washington, DC. Upon retirement from the U.S. Secret Service, he joined the security department of the National Basketball Association in New York, NY, as Senior Director of Global Events Security. #JenniferDulos #JenniferFarberDulos #FotisDulos #MichelleTroconis #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #Connecticut #Murder

Everyone's just trying to survive in a rough world. No one knows this better than the outspoken, unfiltered 83-year-old host Karmela Waldman, a Holocaust survivor. Her co-host son, Joel, is just trying to survive life as a father of three, husband, parental caretaker, and TV news correspondent. Each week, join this dysfunctionally dynamic mother-son duo as the two take a light look at all sorts of stories of survival, from surviving a son's murder to life as a CIA agent to the fame and fast fortune that come with being a hip-hop legend. Did we mention Karm is also a licensed therapist? So, no topic is off limits for these two pillars of podcasting who also break down the biggest news stories. One question always remains: Will Joel survive the survivor? Tune in to find out!
