The last great analog supercar and a Le Mans-winning landmark. What’s it like as a race car, flat-out? We’ve been there.

Sam and Ross have each driven a McLaren F1 on track—a factory-backed GTR that finished eighth overall at Le Mans in 1996. They loved it. (Go figure.)
Sam: “You just want to teleport everyone you know into the car at once, to share it.”
This show’s format rotates weekly, because squirrel. We call this week's approach "It *is* the Car." We won't use it often, but when we do, it'll be for something special.

APOLOGIES: Forgive us, but technical gremlins had Sam's mic popping a bit for the first 12 minutes. The problem is fixed and won't happen again.

Jeff is still buried in Daytona prep and had to sit this one out. We miss his dulcet tones!

Related Trivia: Ross got into that GTR because he was once a BMW factory driver. (The F1 used a BMW engine.) Sam had the same car melt his face off during a Road & Track test with a McLaren Senna. The Senna ran a slower lap—barely.
