Description

Bo and the crew talk about which SEC coach will win their first national championship, shopping at Cracker Barrel and what MSU football needs in the transfer portal in the second hour of the show in the BankPlus Studio. The guys look at the best coaches in the SEC that haven't won a national championship and Bo ranks the most likely candidates to win their first. It's national farmhouse breakfast week and the guys talk about eating and shopping at Cracker Barrel. Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about all of the latest in Bulldog sports live in the BankPlus Studio. Bo talks to Steve about how Jeff Lebby is starting to warm up to him and fans and Steve looks at the fact that Mississippi State succeeds the most when they have an offensive mind at head coach. Steve says he is concerned about the lack of additions for the defensive unit but how you can't just pick up a player to pick him up. Steve was waiting to see if MSU would get any of the transfer defensive players from Alabama or Washington and the need for "plug and play" players in Starkville. Bo asks Steve about the deadline for the transfer portal and Steve thinks the window to take advantage of Alabama being down is closing. Steve talks about former MSU DB Decamerion Richardson deciding not to transfer to Ole Miss and he thinks that the plan was always to go to the NFL. Steve looks at Mississippi State basketball and thinks the team has to be more than two great players in order to beat some of the best teams in the SEC. Bo asks Steve if he thinks MSU basketball is still a tournament team and Steve thinks the squad is on track of where they were supposed to be so far. Steve talks about how Tolu and Josh Hubbard are carrying the team currently sand D.J. Jeffries and others need to pull some weight to be harder to beat. Steve and Bo talk about how some additions to the team haven't been as useful as previously thought and the hope that some of the additions will start to produce for the team.
