Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about the latest in all things Bulldogs live in the BankPlus Studio. Steve tells Bo about the new transfer wide receiver Kevin Coleman from Louisville and how he can contribute immediately. Steve looks at what he expects to happen in the transfer portal and he mentions a Mississippi native that could possibly return to his home state. The biggest need for Mississippi State on defense is an edge rusher and Steve talks about how important the coming days are for the team. Bo asks Steve if he is looking for any Alabama to follow Coleman Hutzler to MSU and he says that just because they played at a big school like that doesn't mean they're always great. Steve thinks that MSU needs at least six starters on defense from the portal in order to really have a shot at turning the unit around. Steve looks at how the team can get to six wins and breaks down the schedule along with new players and coaches. Bo asks Steve about hoops and Steve is excited to see star player Tolu Smith back for the Bulldogs. Bo wonders if coach Jans will continue to sub in players lie he's been doing and Steve talks about how the move could be on a game-by-game basis. Freshman Josh Hubbard has had some good and some bad games and Steve mentions that giving him time to learn more of the scheme will only benefit the young star.
