Jake looks at transfer Juice Wells from South Carolina and the weekend he had in Oxford on his visit. Jake mentions other teams that are going after Wells and he thinks Ole Miss is at the top of his list because of the visit. Jake talks about the QB from Oak Grove and how Lane Kiffin probably gave him something to think about while playing in Oxford for the state championship. Bo asks Jake about what names he has heard that could move the needle and he talks about a big name for a lineman that has sparked interest in every big school. Steve talks about Mississippi State landing Baylor transfer QB Blake Shapen and he talks about how Jeff Lebby probably still isn't done getting new guys. Steve talks about new MSU head coach Jeff Lebby having a big weekend in recruiting and how he has just put his staff together. Steve mentions that transfer portal players really only get about a month before signing and the amount of work the Bulldog staff will need to put in for transfers. Steve talks about how the message board has been insane recently and the next names people are looking out for. Bo asks Steve about wide receiver Mario Craver and how an announcement from him at the all star game would give MSU more publicity. Steve says that his confidence level for Stonka Burnside is almost to 10 because of the way other players have been recruiting him too. 4 star wide receiver JJ Harrell is committed to Mississippi State and has had a big hand in helping recruit other players to Starkville. Bo asks Steve what is realistic for the offensive line in recruiting and transfers and Steve thinks the Bulldogs need at least three transfers to help the line be good immediately. Steve talks about how Mississippi State and Auburn have had a bad retention rate when it comes to players because of their head coaching changes.
