In a wide ranging discussion, the Council Member discusses his dissent of the recently adopted FY 2019/2020 city budget, the Texas legislature, homelessness, and more.

Sworn in on January 6, 2017 to a four year term, Council Member Flannigan represents Austin's Council District 6, encompassing Northwest Austin, including both Travis and Williamson Counties. He is the first openly gay man to serve on the Austin City Council.
