She holds the distinction of being the founder of D-ECCO, the dietitian committee within the European Crohn and Colitis organization. Additionally, she is a co-founder of the Crohn's Disease Exclusion Diet (CDED) and has played a pivotal role in leading clinical trials in this field. Currently, she is working on her Ph.D. at Amsterdam University, focusing on the role of CDED in the management of Crohn's Disease.
