Description

So, the beauty industry is a feckled thing.  While we want our kids to be presentable and take care of themselves, we also don’t want them to feel the crushing weight of the unrealistic standards that the beauty industry has set.  So I brought on a bit of an expert in the matter.  Everybody meet Dr. Sheilagh Maguiness.  Dr. Sheilagh Maguiness is a board certified pediatric dermatologist with a busy academic practice in Minneapolis. She is mom to two tween boys and co-founder of Stryke Club. Dr. Maguiness is active in her National Society and is currently the President of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology.instagram @dr.sheilagh.mIf you want a speaker to come to your community, email heynate@savethekids.org OR fill out the form below.Link to speaker form@savethekidsinc@bulliesbe.goneSupport the show

The Save the Kids Podcast is formerly known as the Collin Kartchner Podcast. Collin Kartchner was the founder of #SaveTheKids. Before his untimely passing, he presented 300-500 times per year about the negative affects of screen time, social media, gaming, and pornography on our kids and how to protect kids’ mental health. Collin was a warrior for children and we at Save The Kids are committed to continuing that message. Join our new podcast host and Save the Kids Speaker, Nate Webb as we continue the mission to Save The Kids.
