A Zoom sit-down conversation with Heather Smith, MPAS, PA-C, and Owner of Twin Ports Dermatology and The Aesthetic Lounge. Due to ever-growing demand state-wide, in the summer of 2021, the Smiths grew their business beyond the Twin Ports and opened a second location near the Twin Cities called, The Aesthetic Lounge. Heather explains the differences between surgical procedures and cosmetic practices offered at her businesses in addition to the launch of the company’s own private label skincare brand, Optimal Skin. Heather discusses the challenges of COVID and the impacts it took on their business structure, but how they pivoted with great success due to their loyal and consistent client base.
