Joe & Joe Weather Show A marine layer has pushed into New Jersey and that has kept much of New England cool today while the hotter temperatures are in the Mid Atlantic though nothing extreme. Scattered thunderstorms are occurring in the Eastern US along with Florida and the Gulf Coast. Flash Flood Watches are up in the Southwest US as heavy rains move into severe drought areas. The tropics remain quiet.
