A cold front and upper trough will set up for downpours and thunderstorms tonight into Thursday night with severe weather risk in parts of the East. A summer weather pattern builds into the East this weekend and next week. Severe weather is also an issues in Texas tonight as well as parts of Mississippi and Tennessee. Heavy rains for Central and East Texas into Lousiana in the coming days.
