A months worth of rain fell over the holiday weekend across the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states. At least we saw some slow improvement today as the upper trough and storm system moved away. Now it is on to warm humid weather this week with the next chance of thunderstorms in the East on Thursday. Severe weather today is confined to parts of West Texas, the Western Great Lakes and Southern Florida. Hurricane Season 2021 begins today and we will take a look at some of the factors that will play into this season.
