We all knew that Shohei Ohtani was going to defer some of his salary. Nobody could have guessed he was about to defer almost ALL of it.

The Dodgers seem to be swimming around the Luxury Tax with some crazy accounting, paying Ohtani only $2 million a year with $68 million annually being paid later.
