News on Wednesday confirmed that Amazon is looking to buyout Bally's Diamond Sports networks, effecting the broadcast and streaming of at least 11 MLB teams.
While the deal has not been finalized and Baseball Commisioner Rob Manfred wants the deal to favor his league more, the idea of baseball moving away from cable TV and towards the streaming world might be intelligent and profitable.
Plus calls that baseball needs a salary cap to become more competitive ignores certain elements of reality.
