Today and tomorrow, we're broadcasting live from Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in downtown Grand Rapids as iHeart West Michigan has their 24th Annual Radiothon. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great people connected to the Radiothon, Corewell Health and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, so we could hear about how they're helping kids in need. We were also joined by some of our insiders to talk about Michigan, the Red Wings, Detroit Lions, and more. We kicked off the show with Chris Balas from theWolverine.com so he could update us on Harbaugh's contract. He told us what Harbaugh's new contract could look like if he doesn't try going to the NFL, Huge and Chris gave their thoughts' on what Harbaugh will do, and much more. We were then joined by Tyler Spezia, who is a Grand Rapids Griffin. He talked to us about his connection with Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, told us about something cool he's doing for a special kid and their family, and more. We were then joined by Dr. Alejandro Quiroga who is the President of Corewell Health West. He told us about why Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is unlike any other, talked to us about all of the great things they have to offer, and so much more. Throughout our second hour, we were joined by former NHL Player Mike Knuble to talk about how the Red Wings have been playing this season. He and Huge talked about the Wings playing really good Hockey since coming back from Sweden, talked about the addition of Patrick Kane and gave their thoughts on what he'll bring to this team, and much more. At the end of our second hour, we were joined by Dr. James Fahner from Corewell Health. He talked with us about how important philanthropy and donations are to saving lives and bringing medical services to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. They also talked about the future growth for the Children's Hospital, and much more. In our final hour, we were joined by Josh Garvey from Doeren Mayhew as well as Lomas Brown for our weekly Lions/NFL segment. Huge, Josh, and Lomas talked about our Detroit Lions and their performance against the Saints this past weekend, looked ahead to Sunday's game against the Bears and gave their predictions, and much more.
