Jake was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma last year and managed to battle through it and beat it. Throughout that process, Jake was playing on the Grand Rapids West Catholic football team which eventually went on to become State Champions. Jake took us through what his journey has been like over the last year or so, how he remained confident and positive through everything, and so much more. We were then joined in studio by Dave and Carol Van Andel to talk all about the Van Andel Institute, the Purple Community, and what they're doing to find a cure for Cancer. They discussed their mission, filled us in on how you can get involved, upcoming events and more. We kicked off the final hour with our friend Jeff Risdon from Lionswire.com talking about the NFL games this weekend. He and Huge went through the schedule and gave their thoughts on what teams win this weekend. We were then joined by Merril Hoge to continue the Playoff conversation.
