Today, we're broadcasting live from the Van Andel Soccer Stadium at Hope College. They're promoting their Van Andel Institute Purple Community Soccer Doubleheader happening this Saturday at Hope. All of the proceeds from that event will go towards finding a cure for Cancer and Parkinson's. We were joined by some of the great Coaches and players throughout the show to talk about what Saturday means to them . We kicked off the show talking some Detroit Lions as we were joined by the voice of the Lions, Dan Miller. He joined Huge to talk about what's been going wrong with this team, what needs to change, and much more. We were then joined by  David Blahnik, who is Hope College's Head Men's Soccer Coach. He joined Huge to talk about the doubleheader on Saturday, and to talk about what this Purple Community event means to him. We were then joined by Freshman defender, Cole Pauly to hear about what it's like playing for Coach Blahnik, and to talk about who he's playing for on Saturday. We talked some more about the Detroit Lions in our second hour as Tim Twentyman from DetroitLions.com joined us. He joined Huge to talk about what's happened to this team in the past few weeks, what the team needs to do in the bye-week, and much more. We were then joined by Brian Morehouse who is Hope College's Head Women's Basketball Coach. He and Huge talked about this year's basketball team, and Brian told us what he loves so much about coaching. We were then joined by Leigh Sears who is Hope College's Head Women's Soccer Coach. She talked to us about her team this year, what she expects from her players, and more. Freshman Midfielder Claudie Folkert then joined us to talk about this Purple Community event and to tell us who she'll be playing for on Saturday. We were joined by Hope College's Head Men's Football Coach Peter Stuursma throughout the entire final hour of the show today. He and Huge talked more about this Purple Community event happening at Hope this Saturday, and what it means to the people in that community. Peter also told us about his football team this year, and what this year has been like for him from a coaching perspective.
