The Golden Knights visited the White House Monday as Mark Stone made a speech and he and team President George McPhie presented President Joe Biden with a hockey stick and a team jersey. Stone said it was easier to play in front of 20,000 fans than to make a White House speech. Biden applauded Stone for coming back from two back surgeries and talked about Jack Eichel and Jonathan Marchessault's playoff run VGK will kick off a five-game road trip tonight against the surging Capitals, who are 6-1-1 after a 1-3-1 start and Alex Ovechkin is heating up also. The Caps have mirrored VGK with a variety of injuries to defensemen and are expected to be shorthanded in that department once again. We could see Logan Thompson in net for the Golden Knights.
