On August 8th, 2023 a wildfire caused by a brush fire and hurricane force winds swept over the historic town of Lahaina. Many escaped with only the clothes on their backs, while countless others tragically lost their lives in this horrific disaster. The brokenness resulting from this tragedy in such a uniquely strong community is heartbreaking.
