Description

#STSNation,  Welcome to another episode of Surviving The Survivor, the podcast that brings you the #BestGuests in all of True Crime…  A 12-year quest to overturn a coroner’s ruling of suicide in Ellen Greenberg’s brutal stabbing death has ended in a legal defeat for her parents.  “We’re deeply disgusted,” Ellen’s mother, Sandee Greenberg  said “I’m beyond tears.”  And now we’re finding out the knife found in her chest was never processed for fingerprints by Philly police. What’s going on?   Ellen Greenberg was a 27-year-old first grade teacher at Juniata Park Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.   At approximately 6:40 p.m. on January 26, 2011, Ellen was pronounced dead as a result of twenty stab wounds, including ten to the back of her head and neck.   In addition, there were eleven bruises in various stages of resolution on her right arm, abdomen, and right leg. Signs of abuse.   Despite all the evidence to the contrary, the Medical Examiner, Dr. Marlon Osbourne, ruled her death a suicide.   #BestGuests:   America’s most respected Detective Fil Waters spent decades in the law enforcement world becoming an expert at obtaining criminal confessions.   He spent 23 years working as a homicide detective in the Houston Police Department investigating more than 400 homicide cases, including one that took the life of his good friend and fellow police officer.   Detective Waters is also a Marine and the owner of Kindred Spirits Investigations. He also starred in the show “The Interrogator”.   Agent Scott Duffey is Director of Wilmington University’s Criminal Justice Institute. Scott is a retired FBI supervisory Special Agent of the Wilmington, Delaware Resident Agency. He worked violent crime matters, gangs, bank robberies and Fugitive task force cases for 20 years before being promoted supervisor of the violent crime task force in Wilmington, Delaware  Prior to FBI, served 5 1/2 years as a Pennsylvania police officer#TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #Idaho4 #BryanKohberger #AnaWalshe #DomesticViolence
