Description

Skin conditions can be tricky and can be frustrating for both patient and practitioner. This is where the skills of Rebecca Hughes shine. Her detective-like  approach in her quest to help her patients and years of clinical practice have given her significant expertise in managing skin conditions. Today we embark on Part 1 of Atopic Dermatitis, commonly called Eczema, how we can tease the presentation apart from other disorders. We'll discuss where the foundations of natural medicine (ie. the gastrointestinal immune response) is placed in the therapeutic approach, considering the significant stress which patients are in, and delve into some of the best approaches and pitfalls of common therapies. We can't tell you much now, but this is the herald of something exciting for practitioners in the near future. Also, watch out for Part 2 of Eczema, plus further episodes on how we can help patients with other skin disorders. REFERENCES:Etiology of Atopic Dermatitis:Atopic Dermatitis. Health Topics.
