She was schooled in natural skin care methods by her mother and sisters from an early age, and after attending an ayurvedic college, she became a skin care educator at Pivot Point Academy in Chennai. For five years she trained legions of young estheticians, fueling the booming day spa industry in India. Farida migrated to New York in 2011 and graduated from Dermalogica Academy two years later.   Farida was recruited by the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa and promoted within one year to the skin care division lead position and certified as a Red Door Educator. At Red Door she developed a team of expert skin therapists skilled in her unique skin treatment protocols, thus providing their guests an experience otherwise not available in the market.   When the Red Door Company closed all of its locations as a result of the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Farida lost her job. But out of the crisis, a brand was born.
