With tributes, moments of silence, and tearful words, we are remembering today the families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
Twenty-two years ago, nearly 3,000 people were killed when hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon, and a Pennsylvania field.
Evil terrorists, brainwashed by dark ideologies and ideas, killed innocent Americans.
The impact of 9/11 is still felt in every corner of the United States.
On that day, the vast majority united as one country, one nation, one people, as it should always be.
With emotional prayers, we remember all the good people who sacrificed for others in the defense of freedom and truth.
