In this installment, Dr. Nicole Gormley and Dr. Grzegorz Nowakowski discuss a collaboration between ASH and the FDA that led to a successful workshop on regulatory science in hematology, an event they co-chaired and one that will return Oct. 10–11 at ASH headquarters in Washington, D.C. Dr. Gormley, a hematologist with the FDA, is the Division Director for the Division of Hematologic Malignancies 2 and the Acting Associate Director for Oncology Endpoint Development within the Oncology Center of Excellence. Dr. Nowakowski is a hematologist at the Mayo Clinic Rochester where he serves as the Deputy Cancer Center Director for Clinical Research.
