Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about Mississippi State missing out on Braden Montgomery and news from football fall camp live in the BankPlus Studio. Steve talks about transfer pitcher Braden Montgomery headingh to Texas A&M instead of Mississippi State and believs that the Luke Holman news was harder to hear than this transfer. Steve talks about the talent at Mississippi State that people forget about, such as Bradley Loftin, and believes that the team isn't completely lost without landing one or both of the two big transfers this summer. Bo and Steve switch over to football and talk about the status of the secondary with new faces at defensive back for the Bulldogs. Steve says that although the unit is fairly newer, the team is probably right where they want to be at this point in fall. Steve talks about MSU having practices in the farm field like they used to and he believes it helps build toughness and a closer bond between players. Steve tells Bo that he thinks MSU will run the ball about 50% of the time, a huge jump from last season.
