In this week’s episode, Jamie sits down with Robin Simon, partner at Easy Street Capital. Starting back in 2016, Easy Street Capital has become one of the leading DSCR lenders in the industry for investment properties. They specialize in Long Term, Short Term and Multifamily rentals.
With the uncertainty of the market there’s a lot of questions about what investors should be doing with their investments. Robin says that on the lending side of things he hasn’t been seeing many defaults or delinquencies on these loans and that a lot of investors who bought their properties prior to the rate hikes are able to sit on their STRs and ride out these dips due to their financing costs being so low at around 3.5-4% for a 30 year fixed. He’s not sure if the crash will ever come.
