The Tampa Bay Rays split the Citrus Series (a two game series) against the Miami Marlins in St. Petersburg losing 7-1.
Zach Eflin provided four innings where the Fish were able to get to him quite often and early. He exited with left knee discomfort and initial MRI’s show it might not be too bad of an injury. Offense was silenced by a complete game outing from 2022 Cy Young winner Sandy Alcantara.
